The Oily Grail of the Demoncrats fight against America, is the stopping of the fuel companies from drilling in the Alaskan Wasteland. Of course the Dinocraps will fight the drilling offshore and the stoppage of Nuclear Power but the emotional fight is against pumping oil out of Alaska. This is a continuation of the battles that they lost in the 60s against the pipeline and now have won the rhetorical war painting the modern clean, impact free exploration as the derrick gushing blight of the early 1900s. The Dims have the rhetorical emotional visual of oil soaked caribou calves dying in the pristine arctic desert. Ignore the truth just pump your Soccer Moms’ emotions.

For Libs, morality has nothing to do with personal responsibility but everything to do with their PC defined Social Conscience. This means they can lead any sort of amoral lifestyle as long as they wear their AIDS ribbon or a Save the Whales sticker on their bumpers, they are morally superior people. The ultimate sign of environmental conscienceness for these braindead liberals is to pretend drilling in Anwar will hurt the environment in spite of all the evidence otherwise. This is why Anwar has become the third rail of energy politics since if you are for exploration you are for environmental Armageddon.

The DemocRat controlled Congress triumphs the fact that they stopped the Presidents energy plan to continue our dependence on terrorist oil, while we sit on an ocean of fuel. How is it that the same group that has been wrong about every single issue over the past 50 years still has control of this agenda? Every idea that they have presented and instituted has only worsened and quickened our movement towards $5/gal. Not only have they blocked drilling of the largest finds off our coasts and Alaska, but they have hampered the more efficient transportation roads for inefficient busses and Choo Choo Trains that go to and from nowhere but look cute. Can we make Disney Castle drilling derricks off California and Orlando?

The best thing that could happen is that gas goes to $4/gal and stays there. This would force the lazy Commie politicians to have to do something other than pose for the usual Feel Your Pain hearings that accomplish absolutely nothing. To blame the Fuel Industry is only the usual Rat slight of mind as we look one way to keep us from focusing on the real problem, them. It is their enviroterrorist roadblocks that have gotten us to this situation which helps explain why they preferred the Clinton Recession to the Historic Bush Expansion. You don’t use nearly the fuel for a recession as opposed to this red hot World Economy. While the Country suffered they continued to clip their Sierra Club Coupons.

How many gallons of fuel are wasted sitting in traffic jams listening to Talk Radio. The Rats are the champions of the Traffic Jam. This is caused by they’re complete mismanagement of highway funds. Since Liberals are in charge metro planning of most of the local communities in the NE and West we have seen the War on the Auto for the past 3 decades. Never mind that the car is the most efficient mode of transportation, the Road Potholers have wasted funds and time on busses, trains and bike paths.

Dems view America through the lens of the proletariat working at minimum wage and need their Socialist cradle to grave protection. That is why they believe that workers would be happy to use time wasting mass transit. Nobody who makes more than $10/hr can afford to spend the extra hour it takes to get somewhere on a bus or train. By the time you make all the transfers and walk to and from the stop, you have wasted an extra hour or more for your commute let alone errands. That means you waste minimum of $10/day or $200/month for your commute. Multiply that numerous times for the middle/upper class and add in the mugging factor to see how inefficient MT is.

Trains are far more inefficient than busses since rails are not only more expensive to build but they do not cover any area for reaching the Burbs. These trains go from the city center and then spoke out to reach the 4 or 5 quadrants expecting people to drive and ride. America is not as densely populated as Europe or even the NE so the Billion$ that could go to roads is wasted on Choo Choondoggles.

Very few people in America can afford to waste that kind of money so they drive their more efficient cars. The problem is that the city planners are all braindead libs so they fight expanding roads and freeways to speed the commute so people are forced to waste time and burn fuel standing in traffic. Far more gas is wasted sitting in traffic due to poor planning than can ever be saved from driving hybrids. The Looney Left has not only blocked the development of our own energy production at every level but made this problem more acute by not expanding our roads and highways to match the growing demand.

Our DemocRat controlled Congress will parade the usual Boogeymen in front of the cameras and have their soapbox hearings to make sure nothing is done. They will complain that the Fuel Companies are making 8-9% profits which is a crime in their Natural Socialized world. How dare anyone outside the Kennedy clan make a buck. They will promise to investigate this industry for doing the unthinkable of making a profit and promise to steal some of it for the children (after they take their 75% graft payment) to punish the producers. The same people who have been consistently wrong about the economy for decades are the same ones in charge of our energy non-policy. Until they begin drilling it is only symbolism over substance, as always.
