Now that the Iraqi Constitution has been passed and there is a formal Iraqi gummit, the Iraq War is Over. To pretend
that this is anything other than a clean-up operation is a farce. To still call this a War has as much credibility as calling
Drunk Uncle Ted a poster boy for poverty or the protector of Women. What is left in Iraq are continued training of the Iraqi
Army and killing the foreign mercenaries.
This has been one of the great military achievements in the history of the
planet. The free and legal vote of a formerly oppressed people will go down as one of the cleanest and fastest formation of
a gummit ever. These people who 5 years ago were having their tongues slashed out and families murdered are now choosing their
own leaders and form of gummit. The pride that our troops must have, to see the look of happiness on these peoples’
faces?
To call this a war is an injustice to all the wars throughout history. Imagine what the American and British
people would have thought about losing 10-20 soldiers a month through WWII?? Heck, if we would have had that few in Nam it
would have been a rousing victory with parades down Wall Street. Nixon would have been a military genius and 2 million SE
Asians would still be breathing. So, time to declare this war over and complete the mop up on aisle five.
We are only
facing outside mercenary cowards who cannot attack the coalition directly and have resorted to planting bombs in hopes for
innocent casualties. They do not have a leader who can actually surrender so they have to carry on in a desperate terror campaign.
The populace has completely turned against them and is a matter of time before they are rooted out by the Iraqi forces. As
these forces are further trained, and who can distinguish the look and sound of outsiders; the mercenaries days are shrinking.
As ownership of the Country is completed, the outsergents are going to become more and more surrounded. They are about as
welcome as Hilary Rob’em at the Daytona 500.
Now that a majority has voted for self rule, we will see an acceleration
of the peaceful governing of that Country. This was beyond the wildest goals that we were attempting to reach when we invaded
this tyrannical dictatorship. We have removed the dictator, captured him and have turned over the Country to it’s own
people. If these results occurred in Vietnam, Nixon would have been forced to serve another two terms. Rather, we have PravdABDNC
trying to turn a mopping up operation into WWIII. This action is much closer to Granada than Vietnam right now.
As more
of the day to day security is turned over to the Iraqi we will be stationing our troops in back-up positions and sending nonessentials
home. We are getting very close to removing the yellow ribbons off our trees and vehicles. Our Coalition Troops should take
a world of pride knowing that they have given Freedom to 25 million more tortured subjects. This will go down in history as
one of the great achievements of our generation. From the ground pounder to the officers to the people in the Pentagon through
our President, this is a selfless gift of historic proportions. The nearly 2000 deaths winning this war have given their lives
for not only their own countries Freedom but the Freedom of 25 million strangers. Amazing!
Iraq and Afghanastan are
the only countries in Persia that now have self rule. The remainder of that region is governed by the most brutal monarchs
and despots on the planet. As the surrounding Countries begin to understand that Freedom exists in their region the cool winds
of Freedom will begin to waft over the desert lands. Iranian exiles and others are already asking, why not us? This begins
the end of terrorism and terrorists.
Just like the Iraqi voting not only for the Constitution they were symbolically
voting against the terrorists. They were rejecting the extremist Islamic law that these terrorists represent. Islamic law
and the accompanying repression is the breeding grounds for these terrorists. This is where the hopelessness is formed as
these people are taught to hate and fear religions they know nothing about. This is where the Osamas’ recruit their
armies of suicide murderers offering them an eternity in paradise by killing innocents. The Iraqi people said no to that since
they can see that with Democracy even the poorest Iraqi has a voice and hope for the future.
It is time to declare this
War Over. This victory has happened in miraculous speed with the minimal number of casualties imaginable. The forming of this
Country has happened at breakneck speed and will be a matter of a couple years before they are completely self sufficient.
The vision of this President and our military who carried out this miracle has been inspiring. The only connection this war
had with Nam was when President George W Bush reminded his Generals, Never Again; let’s win this one!
Pray for
W and Our Victorious Freedom Fighters
